It’s a Dog-Friendly Christmas in Charlotte!
Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone and our bellies are properly stuffed, it’s officially the most wonderful time of the year again, Christmastime! With all of the twinkling lights, shiny ornaments, and festive decorations that plaster every corner, it’s hard to not find yourself becoming a bit jolly.
However, whenever we go off to enjoy the festivities and activities of the season, we almost always have to leave our pups behind, making us feel a bit less jolly… BUT, luckily, Charlotte has a few awesome dog-friendly Christmas events that are sure to keep both you and your furbaby in the mood!

Ever heard of Lucky Dog Bark & Brew? It’s a sports bar open to anyone 21 and over featuring an indoor/outdoor park for you guessed it, your dog! Anytime of the year Lucky Dog is the place to be with your pup, but at Christmastime, it gets even better.
On Saturday December 1st and 8th from 12pm to 4pm, you can head on down to the Brew to get your dog’s picture taken with Santa before enjoying a nice beverage! Photos are free and will be posted online after editing. Donations are being collected for CBHBB Rescue and Lucky Dog is also donating 10% of bar sales during the event back to CBHBB. Fun with your favorite four-legged friend for a cause, it doesn’t get much better than that. https://www.facebook.com/events/2032735550360057/
After hitting Pictures with Santa on the 1st, make your way over to Camp North End’s first annual Reindog Parade from 5pm to 10pm, a part of the Mistletoe Market 2018! This holiday party is open to all, the little ones, the big ones, and the furry ones. Gather the whole family in your holiday best and celebrate with friends from Off Leash Dog Training.
What’s even more exciting, there’s a costume competition! Prizes will be awarded for Pup Culture – for pups in iconic holiday attire, Best Holiday Card – for group costumes, owners included, and Most Original – for puppies with personality. Think your pup has what it takes to win? Pre-register for competition rules and parade route!
