As the Queen City’s only in-ground, veterinarian-owned indoor pool, you and your furry companions are invited to experience the fun and joy year-round. Each pup’s experience is tailored to enhance their health, happiness, socialization skills and well-being.

WHY SHOULD DOGS SWIM

Health and Wellness

Swimming is an excellent form of exercise for dogs. Swimming promotes cardiovascular health, muscle strength and joint flexibility. It’s a low-impact activity, ideal for dogs of all ages and sizes. In addition, swimming can also be beneficial for weight management and relieving arthritis discomfort.

Socialization

Socialization plays a pivotal role in a dog’s life, shaping their behavior, temperament and overall well-being. Our Group Swim sessions aren’t just about splashing around; they are dynamic social gatherings where dogs interact, learn and grow. 

Dogs learn social skills, communication skills, how to share space and understand social cues from other dogs. 

ORIENTATION AND SAFETY MEASURES

For your pup’s safety, a 30-minute orientation with one of our experienced swim instructors is mandatory. Your pup will be fitted with a lifejacket for safety.

During orientation, your furry friend will receive guidance on using the pool ramp to get in and out of the pool. In addition, pups will also learn essential swimming techniques. It’s a necessary step, ensuring a safe and enjoyable swim experience. 

Prior to your pup’s first visit, you must fill out an intake form and agree to pool and swim rules. Once submitted, one of our swim instructors will be in contact to schedule your pup’s orientation.

SWIMMING OPPORTUNITIES AND SERVICES

Aqua Pups Charlotte offers a diverse range of swimming opportunities tailored to suit the needs of every furry visitor. Services include swim memberships, private swims, assisted swims, blow-outs and birthday parties. 

Swim Lessons

We understand that some pups might require additional guidance to feel confident in the water. Our one-on-one swim lessons are designed to help your pup gain confidence, become more comfortable using the ramp and increase their motivation to swim. 

Swim lessons are priced as follows, per pup:

• $38 for a 15-minute session
• $75 for a 30-minute session

Group Swims

For social pups, group swims are a perfect fit! These hour-long sessions, at a cost of $15, allow your furry friend to frolic and play in the water with other dogs. Additional family dogs can join in the fun for an additional, $14 per pup.

Paddle Club Membership

For frequent swimmers, our Paddle Club membership offers unlimited, unassisted swims for $45 per month. For safety, pups can swim up to an hour a day. 
Add another pup to your Paddle Club membership for an additional $25/month.
Other membership benefits include: 10% off all products, blow-outs and swim parties. 

Private Swims

For a more exclusive experience, we offer non-assisted private swims. All private swims must be scheduled ahead of time. The pricing structure is as follows: 

• $23/15 minutes
• $45/30 minutes
• $100/30 minutes for families of 3+ pups
• $200/60 minutes for families of 3+ pups

Paddle Club memberships are also available to our private swim pups. Pay $30 per month for your pup to swim at the additional discounted price of $1 per one-minute during private swim hours. Add an additional pet for $25. 

Our Paddle Club membership for our private swimmers, also includes a 10% discount on products, blow-outs and parties.
